Our courses are now open to kids!

It's been a busy few months as we get all our documentation and processes in order, but we're proud to announce that we are now set up to teach students 13 years and older.

We're starting off with a bang with our September school holiday program, all of which are open to students 13+

How does it work?

We are opening up our courses in two segments to ensure that all students under 18 are safe and have a rewarding time!

  • Students 13-15 are required to attend with a parent or guardian. You can book:

    • One place, and the parent/guardian will work together with their child on one project.

    • Two places, and the parent/guardian and the child will work on their own projects. You will of course be able to help each other!

  • Students 16-17 are not required to attend with a parent or guardian (parent or guardian contact information is required to be provided when booking).

When you book for our courses*, you will be asked at checkout if any of the people you are booking for are under 18, and their name and age if they are. You can read our full Child Safe Policy here.

We're really excited to open up our workshops to young people, and to foster woodworking skills in a new generation. If you have any questions, please get in touch with us at our email.

*Note: Our Green Wood Spoon Carving course and Paddle Making course are not open to anyone under 18.
